The Falcon Club recognizes the storied tradition of athletic, academic, and alumni success at the University of Montevallo. Athletics have played an important role in both the history of UM and in the experiences of the alumni who have worn the colors of Montevallo in athletic competition.
The Falcon Club supports and promotes Montevallo athletics through the involvement of alumni, former athletes and friends.
Driven by the personal experiences of its members, the Falcon Club supports the idea that athletics plays an integral role in the educational mission of the University. Furthermore, we understand that athletics provides a natural venue that brings the entire campus community together. The Falcon Club promotes the success, values, and community of University of Montevallo athletics.
We invite you join the Falcon Club so that together we may strengthen the tradition of Montevallo athletics. You may make an immediate impact on the lives of our student-athletes with a gift to the University Annual Fund. Please note that the Falcon Club's fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30.

The Falcon Club is an organization of alumni, parents, and friends who seek to preserve the tradition of academic and athletic excellence, foster the ideals, and advance the interests of UM athletics.
We accomplish this by:
- Advocating within the University community for the positive role that athletics plays in the educational experience and campus life.
- Maximizing philanthropic support for Montevallo athletics in order to assist in sustaining competitive varsity athletic programs.
- Providing an avenue for athletic alumni to remain connected with the University as well as their teammates and friends.
- Promoting the athletic and academic achievements of Montevallo student-athletes and their teams to our alumni, parents, and friends.
Methods of Support
You may consider a gift through one of the following methods:
Annual Cash Gift
An annual donation may be made to the Annual Fund with cash, check or credit card (American Express, Discover, Visa or MasterCard). If you wish to donate, please click here. Remember that a gift may be made in memory or honor of a particular individual.
Credit or Debit Card
An annual gift may be drafted from a credit card or debit account on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or on an annual basis. Drafts may be authorized on the pledge/payment form. Please click here for more information.
Any current UM faculty or staff member may make a gift through payroll deduction. Please contact Dianne Kyzer at (205) 665-6215 for the appropriate form to activate payroll deduction. Your gift or pledge will have to be completed by September 30 of each year.
Many companies and corporations have a matching gift program. Ask your employer for information concerning a matching gift for high education in support of scholarships for student-athletes. Please be sure to enclose your matching gift form with your pledge/payment form. The Falcon Club will recognize your gift at the level of your personal gift, plus the match.
Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, certificates of deposit, or property are excellent means of support. Gifts of financial assets may help you avoid the capital gains taxes incurred if these assets are personally sold. Please contact Scott Dillard at (205) 665-6215 for specific details.
Planned giving allows you to leave a legacy. Deferred or planned gifts benefit our student-athletes well into the future, while providing immediate and deferred tax advantages to both you and your heirs. Please contact Scott Dillard at (205) 665-6215 for specific details.
The Falcon Club also assists in raising funds to improve existing and create new facilities for our student-athletes. This provides opportunities for our student-athletes to be able to compete at the highest level in state-of-the-art facilities. For more information on how you can help with future capital projects, please contact Athletic Director Mark Richard at (205) 665-6612.
