The Falcons fell on the road to Georgia Southwestern State University (12-33, 9-20 PBC), 9-6.

GSW struck first in the second with a bases clearing triple that put the Hurricanes ahead 3-0. Willoughby had reached on a one-out single to centerfield.
UM tied the game up in the fifth as senior Heath Peterson (Phenix City, Ala./Chattahoochee Valley C.C.) hit an RBI double down the left field line to score junior Vincente Andrews (Phenix City, Ala./Chattahoochee Valley C.C.) who had reached on a walk. Then Ross hit a triple to right centerfield to score Peterson and tie the game at three.
