Prepped at St. Thomas Aquinas High School under coach Robert Lawson… was a Gold Glove award recipient his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... was named Scholar Athlete each of his four years in high school… earned the batting award his junior and senior seasons… selected for the All-Broward County Team in his senior campaign… led his team to District Championships in his sophomore and senior seasons… team advanced to the state semi-finals in his last season… hit .408 with five homeruns and a .725 slugging percentage in his final season.
