Started all 54 games for the Falcons during his junior season... posted a .329 batting average while leading the team with seven homers and 64 RBIs... finished with 15 doubles and two triples... finished with 13 stolen bases in 16 attempts... posted a .514 slugging percentage and a .991 fielding percentage... recorded a season-high four hits against Maryville (Mo.)... finished with a season-high five RBIs against Georgia College... scored a season-high two runs each on nine separate occasions.

2012... Played at Louisiana State University. At LSU, Slaid hit .271 with 10 runs scored, 8 RBI and one home run while making 11 starts. During the summer of 2011, he was named a Prospect League All-Star and a Top 25 Prospect, batting .340 with 10 doubles, two homers and 35 RBI. He was also a member of the 2011 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.
