Meredith Waldrop begins her second season as head coach of the Montevallo Cheerleading Team. She is a 2004 graduate of UM with a B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Interior Design, minor in business.

While a student a UM she cheered for for four years. Her sophomore year she was named co-captain and served as the captain her junior and senior years. Prior to UM she cheered all four years in high school. She served as her high school coach while still a student at UM.

She is currently the assistant to the Senior Vice President for Administrative Affairs. She has been working for UM since February of 2008.
