Little and Flowers Named to the All-GSC Teams

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Montevallo men's basketball team was awarded a pair of players on the All-Gulf South Conference Teams. Junior Freddy Little (Raleigh, North Carolina) was named to the First Team All-GSC East Division Team while junior Nate Flowers (Waldorf, Maryland) was named All-GSC East Second Team.

This is the first selection for Little and Flowers who joined the Falcons this season. Little led the team averaging 16.0 points per game while hitting 73 three pointers which led the GSC. Flowers was second on the team in scoring averaging 13.3 ppg. and led the team with 8.6 rebounds per game.

The Falcons tied for the lead in the east division with two selections. The University of North Alabama, Valdosta State University and the University of West Georgia all had two selections as well.

The Falcons will now head to Southaven, Mississippi on Wednesday to take on the University of Arkansas-Monticello at 2:45 p.m. in the first round of the GSC Tournament.
