Falcons Fall to No. 2 Florida Southern

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Rob Eldridge scored a game-high 18 points to lead No. 2 Florida Southern College to a 73-58 victory over the University of Montevallo (0-2), in second day action at the Disney Tip-Off Classic Saturday night.

UM suffered through a dismal shooting performance, converting just 28 percent (9-for-32) in the first half and 31 percent (21-for-67) from the field and 26 percent (5-for-19) from the 3-point line. Terrill Humphrey (St. Augustine, Florida) was the only Falcon to score in double figures, finishing with 17 points.

UM will play Lees-McRae College at the Classic, Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. (ET).
