Falcons Move Up Two Spots in Most Recent NABC Division II Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The University of Montevallo men's basketball team (12-0, 2-0 PBC) moved up two spots in the seventh weekly National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) national poll, improving to 13th nationally. The rankings are based on games through January 11.

UM is off to the best start in school history and is chasing the best start in Peach Belt Conference history. The Falcons are five wins away from tying the 17-0 mark set by Clayton State University in the 2006-07 season. UM is also contending with the current Augusta State University team which is 13-0 and ranked first in the most recent poll. UM and ASU are the only Peach Belt Conference representatives in the top 25.

Montevallo will be hosting North Georgia College and State University (6-6, 1-1 PBC) tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. inside BankTrust Arena.
