Little Named First Team All-Conference

AIKEN, S.C. - Senior Freddy Little (Raleigh, N.C./Bunn) of the University of Montevallo men's basketball team (22-6) was named First Team All-Peach Belt Conference for the 2009-10 season. This is Little's second All-Conference award after he was named First Team All-Gulf South Conference last season. This is the first PBC All-Conference award for the men's basketball program.

Little leads the Falcons with 16.4 points per game. He ranks second in the PBC in scoring, third in three pointers made, sixth in free throw percentage and 14th in three-point field goal percentage. Little recently eclipsed the career three-pointers made mark set by Greg Brown (2005-07) who hit 151 threes during his career and held the UM NCAA record for threes in a career. Little is now just two threes away from tying the All-Time UM record for threes in a career held by Romeo Penn (1992-96) and Lewis Brooks (1984-88) who hit 155 during their careers.

Little will lead the Falcons into battle tomorrow as they take on No. 1 Augusta State University at 5 p.m. in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Semifinals.
