Falcons Move Up to No. 19 in Most Recent NABC Division II Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The University of Montevallo men's basketball team moved up one spot in the fifth weekly National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) national poll, improving to 19th nationally. The rankings are based on games through December 22.

The Falcons, one of two Peach Belt Conference members in the top 25, have tied the record for the best start in school history with their 10th win without a defeat. The only other Montevallo team to win their first 10 games was the 2005-06 squad, which finished 29-5. Montevallo joins No. 3 Augusta State as the current PBC representatives in the national poll.

Montevallo will be hosting Lander University (5-3) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in its first-ever Peach Belt Conference game.
