Falcons Ranked 20th in NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Montevallo men’s basketball team (12-3, 3-1 PBC) is ranked 20th in the NABC/Division II Men’s Basketball National Rankings. The Falcons are the only Peach Belt Conference team in the top-25 and are one of just two Southeast Region teams in the poll. Southeast Region foe Lincoln Memorial headlines the poll at number one.

The Falcons were last ranked in the top-25 on January 3, 2011 when they came in at No. 19. UM was ranked as high as No. 5 last season. The Falcons highest ever ranking was No. 1 which has happened six times. All six of the Falcons No. 1 rankings came during the 2005-06 season.

UM will take on Lander University this Saturday at home. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. inside BankTrust Arena.
