Falcons Take Down Three GSC Teams Finish 18th at UNA Classic

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. - The University of Montevallo men's golf team finished 18th at the University of North Alabama Spring Classic out of 24. Leading the way for the Falcons was freshman Aaron Ebert (Huron, Ohio) who finished 26^th in a field of 118. Ebert shot a two round score of 154 just nine strokes off the lead.

Junior Tripp Cash (Troy, Alabama) was the next in line coming in 82^nd while junior Jon Henderson (Fort Payne, Alabama) was one stroke behind at 86^th. Freshman Gonzalo Gambertoglio (Cordoba, Argentina) finished one stroke behind Henderson in 88^th while sophomore Ruwaldt Viljoen (Johannesburg, South Africa) rounded out the field for Montevallo.

The Falcons bested Ouachita Baptist University, Lambuth University, Henderson State University, Faulkner University and Christian Brothers University. UNA won the tournament with a total score of 597.

The Falcons will be back in action Monday, April 13 as they begin play at the Independent Collegiate Invitational hosted by Brevard College.
