Cash Leads Falcons to Fifth Place Finish

BREVARD, N.C. - The University of Montevallo men's golf team took home its best finish of the year as they placed fifth out of 14 teams at the weather shortened Independent Collegiate Invite. Junior Tripp Cash (Troy, Alabama) led the way as he tied for eighth place with a one round score of 73.

Junior Jon Henderson (Fort Payne, Alabama) and senior Danny Hebert (Chilliwack, British Columbia) were the next two finishers for the Falcons coming in tied for 25^th with a pair of 76. Freshman Aaron Ebert (Huron, Ohio) was just one stroke of their pace tied for 34^th with a 77. Rounding out the Montevallo scorers was freshman Gonzalo Gambertoglio (Cordoba, Argentina) who finished tied for 57^th.

The Falcons will be back in action Monday, April 20 as they compete in their final Gulf South Conference Tournament in Hot Springs, Ark.
