Falcons Finish Third at North Alabama Fall Classic

FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of Montevallo men's golf team finished third at the North Alabama Fall Classic by defeating Birmingham Southern, Christian Brothers University and Trevecca Nazarene University. Leading the way for the Falcons were senior Danny Hebert (Chilliwack, British Columbia) and junior Jon Henderson (Fort Payne, Alabama) who finished tied for fifth with a two round score of 142.

Both Hebert and Henderson finished two-under par and were named to the All-Tournament team. Gonzalo Gambertoglio (Villa Allende, Argentina) finished tied for 13th with a 147 while Tripp Cash (Troy, Alabama) came in one spot behind tied for 15^th with a 148.

The final scorer for the Falcons was Nathan Brown (Cullman, Alabama) who finished tied for 43^rd.

The top two teams at the tournament were host University of North Alabama and the University of West Georgia.

The Falcons will be back in action Monday, October 20 as they begin play at the Destin Invitational for their final fall tournament.
