Two Falcons Named to the Preseason All-Conference Team

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of Montevallo men’s soccer team was awarded two players on the All-Peach Belt Conference Teams. Senior’s Nathaniel Foster (Brampton, Ontario/Humberview Secondary School) and Milan Pualic (Subotica, Serbia/Srednja Ekonosmka Skola School) each were named to the 12 member squad.

These were the first Preseason All-PBC honors for the men’s soccer program in their second season as member of the Peach Belt Conference. Both Foster and Pualic were named to the All-PBC squads following last season.

Foster led the Falcons with 10 goals last year and was tied for the team lead with seven assists.  He was named First Team All-Conference and Third Team All-Region by the NSCAA.  Pualic was UM’s second-leading scorer last year with six goals and tied Foster with seven assists. The senior was named PBC All-Conference and All-Region.

The Falcons open up their exhibition schedule this Wednesday as the Falcons travel to Division I Belmont for a contest beginning at 4 p.m. The first time fans can catch the Falcons in action at home is this Saturday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. as the Falcons host Division I Alabama A&M for their final preseason tune-up.
