Two Falcons Named to the All-PBC Squads

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The University of Montevallo women's soccer team (7-8-3, 3-5-2 PBC) was awarded two players on the All-Peach Belt Conference Teams. Freshman Paige Scott (Denman Island, British Columbia/Reynolds) and sophomore Natalie Martineau (Oakville, Ontario/Ecole Secondaire) were named to the Second Team.

These were the first All-PBC honors for the women's soccer program in their first season as member of the Peach Belt Conference. It was also the first All-Conference honors for both Martineau and Scott in their young careers.

Scott leads the Falcons with six goals. She is also the team leader in points with 13. Martineau is the clear leader in assists with eight which is six more than the next highest Falcon. Martineau is also tied for fourth in the conference in assists.

Scott and Martineau will lead their Falcon teammates into battle this evening at 6:30 p.m. as they take on Georgia College and State University in the semifinals of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament in Evans, Ga.
