Rosato Named to All-Southeast Region Third Team

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women’s soccer team was awarded one spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas All-Southeast Region Teams. Senior Kristin Rosato (Pinson, Ala./Clay-Chalkville) was named to the Third Team. Rosato becomes just the second player in UM history to be named to the All-Southeast Region teams since joining the Falcons moved to the Peach Belt Conference and the Southeast Region in 2009.

Rosato played in all 18 games for the Falcons this season and served as the team captain. She was named Second Team All-PBC this past season. She led the Falcon defense helping capture one shutout and holding opponents to 1.68 goals per contest. Her versatility allowed her to play all over the field including starting one game at forward. She has been part of the UM squad for five seasons and started since she stepped foot on campus in 2007. She holds the UM record for games played in a career with 80. She is also a standout in the classroom being named a Bronze Scholar on the PBC Presidential Honor Roll last season.
