Montevallo Falls to No. 6 West Florida, 9-0

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of Montevallo tennis team (9-7, 0-2 GSC East) dropped a hard fought match with No. 6 University of West Florida (13-3, 4-1 GSC East), 9-0. Junior Alex Mangum (San Antonio, Texas) put up the toughest fight in singles going down 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 1 match. Freshman Ashlyn Bolton (Chattanooga, Tennessee) and sophomore Kelley Vaughn (Hoover, Alabama) picked up the most game victories on the day in the No. 3 doubles match falling 8-5.

The Falcons will return to the court on Wednesday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. as they host the University of West Alabama in Gulf South Conference East Division play.
