Ashlyn Bolton returns for her sophomore year for the Falcons. In 2009 she played in the number five position for the Falcons and finished with an overall record of 9-7 with a five-match winning streak. She was paired with teammate Kelley Vaughn in doubles for 11 out of 15 matches and won six of those contests.

Bolton prepped at Chattanooga Christian School under Coach Sue Webb. She was part of four team state championships and was named Best of Preps by the Chattanooga Times and Free Press.
 
Undecided on a major at UM, she is the daughter of Debbie and Dale Bolton. She has two brothers, Brad and Brett. Her brothers both compete in collegiate tennis, Brett at Austin Peay University and Brad at Tennessee Wesleyan.
