Carson Anderson returns for her fourth season with the Falcons. She will compete for time as a middle hitter.
2008: Appeared in 108 games... tallied 76 total blocks, second best on the team... averaged .60 blocks per game, second best on the team... recorded a total of 204 kills, with a .232 hitting percentage, for third best on the team... recorded three matches with double digit kills... her best match of the season was against Christian Brothers, where she recorded 12 kills, hitting .333, and had a season high total of 6 blocks... named Defensive Player of the Week for the Gulf South Conference... helped Montevallo to upset Arkansas Tech in the first round of the Gulf South Conference Volleyball Championship.
2007: Led team in blocks per game... had five or more blocks in eight matches, including a season-best eight blocks (three solo) against Drury... double figures in kills in seven matches, including season-best 13 kills against Armstrong Atlantic... one of 11 Falcons named to the GSC Honor Roll.
2006: Posted solid numbers in her freshman campaign, leading the team and finishing fifth in the conference in blocks per game... collected five or more blocks in 10 matches, including a season-best 10 block assists against Spring Hill... double figures in kills in eight matches, including a season-best 18 against Miles... fourth on the team in kills and kills per game... named GSC East Defensive Player of the Week, and was one of 11 Falcons to be named to the GSC Honor Roll.
High School: Two-sport athlete at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee... also a two-year letter winner and named team captain as a senior for the Baylor Crew Team... team qualified for nationals in 2005, placing 12th as a team.
Personal: Played club volleyball for the Dig to
Win volleyball club, where her team recorded three first place
finishes in the 2006 club season... a Biology Major at UM, she is
the daughter of Patricia and Corey Anderson.
