Rachel Wotitzky will return for her second season with the Falcons. She will compete for playing time as a defensive specialist.

2008: Appeared in 14 games... voted by the team as Most Improved... best match of the year was against Stillman College where she recorded a season high 5 digs... helped Montevallo to upset Arkansas Tech in the first round of the Gulf South Conference Volleyball Championship.

High School: Three-time All-Area selection while competing at Charlotte High School... posted school record for assists... Florida All-Star for four years... received 12 varsity athletic letters in volleyball, weightlifting and track... competed at state championships in track and weighlifting... president of Lettermans Club... recipient of the Tarpon on the Rise Award, Unsung Hero Award, Distinguished Athlete Award, Blue Crew and Tarpon Leadership... also received Academic Letter and Scholastic Award...competed for four seasons for coach Brian Wheatly and the Venetian Bay Club and one season for coach Kelly Chaplin and the USA South Volleyball Club, where she was named to the All-Area team.

Personal: Has two brothers, David and Leo... a Business Management Major at UM, she is the daughter of Hal and Allison Wotitzky.
