Faculty and Staff Honored at Volleyball Match
MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of Montevallo Volleyball team had a great turn-out for their game against the University of Alabama-Huntsville Tuesday night. The crowd was not only special for the women's volleyball team, but also to faculty and staff members that the student-athletes had chosen to honor. Coach Katie O'Brien selected the evening as women's volleyball's Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night. Each member of the women's volleyball team selected a faculty or staff member who has made an impact on them academically and personally this year or consistently throughout their time at Montevallo, and personally invited them to attend a pregame ceremony in their honor.
The University of Montevallo cheerleading team cheered before forming a walkway for the nominated favorite faculty and staff members to walk down and receive a small token of appreciation from their nominating student-athlete.
