Garrison Named PBC Specialist of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Sophomore setter Anna Garrison (LaVergne, Tenn./LaVergne) of the University of Montevallo women's volleyball team (13-10, 4-4 PBC) was named Peach Belt Conference Specialist of the Week. This is the second PBC Specialist of the Week honor for both the team and Garrison.

Garrison led Montevallo to a 2-1 weekend as she averaged 12.00 assists per set. The sophomore began with 32 assists and 13 digs at USC Aiken, then had 54 assists with 13 digs at Lander. She just missed her third double-double with 46 assists and seven digs at Augusta State. She also had four aces on the week. Her efforts have moved her into first in the PBC in assists per game with 10.20 while she is also tied for 13th in aces.

Garrison and the rest of the Falcons return to the court Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 6:00 p.m. as they travel to the University of West Georgia.
