AUGUSTA, Ga. - The University of Montevallo women's volleyball team has been awarded the Peach Belt Conference Women's Volleyball Sportsmanship Award for 2009-10. In June 2010 the conference will announce the PBC Institution of the Year Sportsmanship Award. Following the conclusion of all championship seasons each institutions points and rankings will be tallied and the winning institution named.

"I am very proud of our players for being selected for the sportsmanship award," said assistant coach Erin Heffner. "Sportsmanship is something that we as coaches and the university expect from our players and other student-athletes. We want to make sure that we are positively representing our school and it is nice to be recognized for sportsmanship."
