Georgia Izard returns for her third season with the University of Montevallo women's cross-country program this fall.

2008... Redshirted due to injury.

2007... Competed in five meets last season...posted a season-best time of 20:52 at the University of North Alabama meet...also posted a time of 21:02 at the 2007 Gulf South Conference Women's Cross-Country Championships.

High School... A four-year letter-winner competing for coach Bryan Burgess at John Carroll Catholic High School, where she qualified for the Alabama 5A State Cross-Country Meet and ran a personal record of 20:04 to finish 17th...also qualified for the 800, 1600, and 3200 for the Alabama 5A Outdoor State Meet... ran personal records of 2:27 for the 800, 5:36 for the 1600, and she earned All-State recognition for the 3200 where she finished sixth overall...was the recipient of numerous team awards, including team MVP.

Personal... Graduated with high honors and received an advanced diploma...a biology major at UM, she is the daughter of Craig and Melody Izard.
